I can see why some might find this movie lacking or unfulfilled if you compare it to a large-scale film, but to me it seems to target a younger audience. Through that lens this film is perfect. It's not particularly violent, obscene, or profane; simple dialogue and plot line make it easily digestible for kids and early teens. Plus, the scenery is beautiful and it has a good message. Don't expect Schindler's List or The Grey Zone - this is not that type of film.
