Limbo (I) (2019)
7/10
A very clever twist on the courtroom drama
12 September 2020
This was a very enjoyable film. I didn't know what to expect, but as it began to unfold, I found myself getting quite engaged in the character development. The performances were all strong, save a few moments where Colliard maybe seemed a bit out of his comfort zone and tired. But big props to the cast. Lew Temple plays his part extremely well. There are comedic moments, and dark moments. Each time I thought I had the story figured out, another turn would occur. The end did surprise me, which is quite hard to do these days.

It is a low budget film, so if you can overlook a lack of big budget sets, and enjoy this movie as the character study it is, you might find this to be a movie you remember for a while.
