Good natured Randy Boone gets tricked into helping some bank robbers pull a
job and gets arrested by Marshal Ford Rainey. It's up to James Drury to get Boone
out of this jackpot. As a mrder was committed during the robbery, Boone is sentenced to hang,
Drury's problem is that Rainey is a legendary lawman of the Wyatt Earp type and the town council refuses to believe he could be wrong. Drury has one potential ally in attorney Adam West. But he's got his own agenda going with political ambitions.
Guest stars Rainey and West shine in this story as does the innocent Randy Boone. There's also a good small cameo role for Shug Fisher as a Buffalo Bill type character.
