Hark the Herald Angels Sing- missing lyrics, not acceptable
20 July 2020
This is not what I'd call a "real" review, it's more of an observation. It may seem really small, absolutely minute to some BUT, there are others of us, who are sticklers for Christmas songs & lyrics to be sung correctly. Around the 9 minute mark, the Carolers are in town square singing, "Hark the Herald Angels Sing." Near the end of the song, they leave an entire line out, a very important part of the song. Some might even say THE most important part is being left out, the true meaning of Christmas. Right after they sing,🎵With angelic host proclaim🎶, the very next line should be, 🎶*CHRIST IS BORN I N BETHLEHEM*🎵 But it's not there. Instead it goes straight into🎵Glory to the newborn King🎶 This isn't right ! Sing all of the lyrics, or just don't sing the song at all. It's highly unusual for a Hallmark Christmas movie to do this. I guess I can excuse it this time, but this can't become a habit. It absolutely cannot. Thanks for sharing your time. This is a big deal for us Christmas Carole enthusiasts. Blessings to you all.
