Some actors have a knack for choosing great scripts, so we follow them around eagerly waiting for whatever they're doing next. Piper Perabo, unfortunately, has the opposite talent. Just like Covert Affairs and Penny Dreadful (which truly lived up to its name), this lazy formula drama is a badly written pile of steaming schlock. With stiff, hackneyed dialogue like this, it's hard to see what the actors can really do, but they come off here as bland and lifeless.
