This series takes the original and expands on it a lot more. The original characters are still here, but older, and there are new characters and Digimon as well. There are new story elements and arcs that make it very compelling. Unlike others, I didn't mind the ending! Yes it's a bit cheesy but it actually fits the tone of the series.
