Review of Hell on the Border

I was really looking forward to this movie because I've seen some documentaries about Bass Reeves and his awesomeness. The man was awesome. This move is not. The acting is subpar, the use of modern music in this western style movie doesn't help it at all, it so hurts it. This really could have been a great movie in the vein of the old westerns of the 60's and 70's. But it wasn't. Please avoid this movie and just find a documentary about the great Bass Reeves.
