First of all, I spent time looking to see if there was an Episode 8, because Episode 7 couldn't possibly be the end of the first season, could it? Evidently, it is. Very weird way to end something. I will watch if it ever continues, but it is like it just stops during the "action." I subtracted 3 stars because as with may UK period productions, there are tons of unrealistic things, such as a woman back then with a huge pregnant stomach singing for the troop with perfect hair and makeup in a tight dress. Not gonna happen. And of course she had no extra weight days after the baby was born. Several women wear tons of makeup, which was not all that acceptable in average society; I know, I am pretty old. Lipstick and powder was about it for "regular" women. Also, everything is neat and tidy; looks nice, but again, can't imagine there wasn't a scrap of litter anywhere in Europe, other than the bomb sites. Overall, I enjoyed it and hope it comes back so I can see an actual ending.
