Low grade sci-fi

Warning: Spoilers
FATAL CONFLICT is another low grade sci-fi B-flick from director Lloyd A. Simandl, no stranger to the genre. He's good at crafting tough heroines but otherwise suffers from the usual budgetary constraints of this genre, and this one looks particularly dated, like a TV episode from the time. Kari Wuhrer is a beautiful screen presence as a convict tasked with infiltrating a huge space ship and taking down the evil brother and sister running it. The performances are cheesy, the heroes wooden (hello, Miles O'Keefe!) and the dialogue trite, and the whole thing has been shot on a miniscule budget in Prague. But there's plenty of action to take your mind off the mindlessness of it all, so it's not the worst you'll encounter.
