Director Franco Zeffirelli brings Guiseppe Verdi's opera gloriously to the screen with a cast that includes Teresa Stratas, Placido Domingo, and Cornell MacNeil, as well as the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and chorus, in this Oscar-nominated production.
