The film is "inspired by actual events" whatever that now means. A couple gets a chance to buy a foreclosed house with furniture. They go to meet the realtors in the old Victorian and they are not there. Chris and Robin make themselves at home. We see the ghost of a child (see cover) in the background playing with a small ball or large marble. The realtors never show up, psychics are called in.
The dialogue was light, sort of like Leon Redbone, "I what to be seduced" whimsical. In spite of ghosts, there wasn't any horror, just a conversation about illegal immigration as it relates to China. April Matson and Richard Riehle provided fun characters. Almost a spoof of Poltergeist.
Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.
