Alaya Has Definitely Shined in her Debut Venture!
1 April 2020
I generally don't expect much from these kind of movies ever, as the storylines most of the times turn out to be Generic and Predictable. This is nothing different but the predictable nature didn't really stop me from enjoying the movie to be honest. Packed with some noteworthy performnaces from the Main Two Leads that has surely lift the film few notches up from the usual standards. And Probably the Highlight of the film too. Alaya As the debutant just nailed her respective role of a Teenage girl! She seemed so natural and confident in her posture that you won't consider this is her first ever film. Saif Ali Khan as always has done justice to his role. But still somehow I expect More from him nowadays after watching such powerpacked late performances of his. Kubra Sait after Sacred Games Is a Likable Addition. The film is Shot in a Beautiful backdrop of London. That does help to bring a fresh vibrance onto the screen. It really is A Visual Treat nonetheless. The Music score although lacks originality; still it fits well with the overall vibe. But the problem as always lies in the script. The screenplay isn't tight, The side characters couldn't really left a mark. The emotional punch was there but not sufficient enough to make you cry or help to get deeper connections to the characters on screen. It's a Decent one time watch that could have been a lot better considering the interesting premise. But Unfortunately that wasn't to be.
