It's been a long time since I laughed out loud at anything on the TV (I'm a tough audience) but this had me laughing from the start, most unusual for the first episode of a series - they usually take a while to bed in. Brenda Blethyn is great in all she undertakes and this reminds me of Mim in Outside Edge. Please give it go and if you don't like it, just change the channel :-)
