This one was fun as Monk is embedded with the prison population of a large prison. A prisoner on death row has been poisoned forty-five minutes before execution. Monk finds that Dale the Whale is there and the big guy, played by Tim Curry this time, promises him information about Trudy's death if he can solve the case. Some of Monk's interaction with a nasty inmate are really pretty good.
