Yeah, when this cartoon was announced, people were angry about it (mainly because it was going to focus more on comedy), but now that it premiered, I can say this is indeed horrible.
Basically a comedic remake of the original series, this show is basically like Teen Titans Go!, another remake that has gotten its fair share of hate. Like that show, Thundercats Roar basically messes up the characters' personalities, as here, Lion-O is a complete moron who is irresponsible at time, while Tygra is the voice of the reason (who is treated horribly as a result, mainly from Lion-O). Cheetara is now a show-off who seeks attention, while WikyKiy and WilyKat act more like kids.
As for the episodes themselves, they are almost like Teen Titans Go!. The series uses music taken from the original shows, and have a lot more action than TTG, but sadly, the show teaches some horrible morals to kids, and the humor can get juvenile and unfunny at times. If you are a longtime fan of Thundercats, I recommend steering clear of this show.
