Good and uplifiting movie about John F. Kennedy

I think this is a good and uplifiting movie about John F. Kennedy, showing he had very good leadership skills already at an early age - when he was 26 years old - and that he was able to keep a cool head even when being put under severe pressure; such as during his service in WW2, when in 1943 a Japanese destroyer appears suddenly out of the darkness, rams and slices the boat under his command in two; the PT 109. Kennedy survives the collision and searches for survivors, despite injuring his back. Morale drops and several of the men appear ready to give up and surrender; but Kennedy remains determined, and ultmately leads his crew back to safety... Apparently, when later asked how he became a war hero, Kennedy joked: "It was easy. They cut my PT boat in half." Probably also one of the reasons why Kennedy was quite a popular president during the 'Camelot era'; being not only a brave and courageous leader, but also a funny and humble guy - Kennedy having been a great and highly respected leader in the US and the world at large.
