Big is surprisingly heartwarming and humorous at the same time. I was expecting some childish funny movie that I would laugh and forget. This was more than that. It has some important messages regarding the beauty of childhood, kids always want to be and act older but you only get one childhood. For many childhood is some of the best years of a kids life and it should be enjoyed. Big shows this quite well. The performances were great, especially Hanks. Given how well it was set up I feel the film could have been a lot more but overall quite a well made film. 7.5/10
