I only wrote this because of the man who said it was a racist movie. We just saw it and I think he missed the point and maybe didnt watch it all the way. The movie is about the girl making her way into adulthood. She has to deal with being alone but then falling for a difficult man but she loves him anyway. he happens to be but its not what its about. Its about her making a new life for herself and we liked how it ended.
