WOW. I just binged the entire first season of this show, and I gotta say that I was NOT expecting something like this-a modern, animated adaptation of one of the most beloved books of all time-to have some the best animation and most thoughtful characters I've ever seen in a cartoon. This show took over four years to develop, and the work in every sinew of each episode shows.
I don't want to go into details regarding the show but I highly recommend watching it blind, or in a bind, because you might miss a twist, with a special gist.
Between this and Klaus, it's really nice to see Netflix supporting the rebirth of quality 2D animated projects again.
(Also...you WILL cry. Don't say I didn't warn you.)
