The New Addams Family (1998–1999)
Hard to believe it lasted 65 episodes...

Just an awful series, and a slap in the face to the intellectual property.

Some context. If you were a kid in the 1990s it was pretty hard to avoid the Saban Entertainment logo, especially if you watched a lot of Fox Kids programming. Thanks to Power Rangers and other productions(A lot of which were imports of foreign programming) they were unstoppable, and because of their success they were able to purchase the television rights for other intellectual property from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and...The Addams Family. As Saban is not too well known for high production values or the most sophisticated of story writing this rendition of The Addams Family suffered by not a little. Almost all of it feels and even looks like a local theatre production, from the cast and the set design, the writing is just terrible, and it tries hard to blend both the original series and the feature films of the early 90s starring Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston, Christopher Lloyd, and Christina Ricci but fails miserably at capturing the same charm or wit.

BEWARE. See at your own risk.
