Warning: Spoilers
"Titanic 2" is an American short film from 2017, so not really new anymore, but far from old too. The writer (I should say "writer") and director of these udner five minutes here is Myles Byrne-Dunhill. Well, what can I say about this one. The title probably gives it some attention, way more than it deserves honestly because otherwise nobody ever would have watched it ouside the director's family. There is nothing to it really. We have a guy filming at a pier and we see some of the boats there. That's all. It does drag for under 300 seconds even. I also have no clue what the other two reviewers are on about and I sure watched the correct version because the filmmaker uploaded it himself. There is no script really. He is just walking around the pier. And there are no actors or performers in here. The only one you see is MBD himself when he holds the camera at his clothes and sometimes you also see his shadow. So it is a documentary somehow I guess you could say. But it's really just a film for personal use, maybe his own boat is there too no idea, but for everybody else there is no reason to watch it. I though the music was still okay for the first 150 seconds or so, first half of the film, so it was a bit on the soothing side you could say and had it stayed this way I probably would have given two stars more, but the music in the second half is pretty annoying and takes away the slightest bit of quality the film could have had from what I just described. The visual side stayed equally boring. Not even boat lovers will enjoyed this one. major thumbs-down. Not recommended. I am actually surprised to see Byrne-Dunhill has other credits to his name that sound at least like actual movies (more than motion pictures I mean). Hopefully these are better. Can#t be too dififcult though.
