Its very well written performed paced edited and directed. Just watched City on a Hill (which is very good too) but Intelligence really shows it up for its overacting, choppy narrative, poor pacing, non credible narrative arcs. Intelligence is so smoothly delivered it never falters for a second, never tries to be bigger than itself, and all the characters are contained beautifully (this containment is really nailed so well by Ian Tracey and flows on to everyone else) within the parameters of who they are. So if you re scrolling through Netflix library for a gem you might have missed, check out Intelligence and enjoy the ride but be prepared to feel dissatisfied and resentful at the way it is suddenly taken away from you. Absolute crime it ended like this.
