As about 15 when I first saw this episode, and the only part that stuck out to me was the "cat murdering scene". I forgot literally the whole rest of the episode because that one scene angered me so much. WHO in their right mind would find ANIMAL ABUSE a good idea for comedy?! The only people that will ever find such horror "funny" are psychopaths and sociopaths. There is nothing funny about that scene, and it has forever traumatized me because I had the misfortune of watching it. I have never seen it since, nor will I ever see it again.
Literally the whole rest of the episode is about legalizing pot, and that's fine I guess, but none of it even mattered. The moment I saw that brutal scene at the beginning I turned off the TV (or almost did. Somehow I got through the whole episode but again, it didn't matter. I was too pissed about that one scene).
Not sure if my review will mean much to anyone since it's more a commentary on one horrible joke that should NEVER EVER HAVE BEEN GREENLIT IN THE FIRST PLACE. But I just had to say it. That one "joke" was so deplorable it not only ruined the whole episode, it pretty much ruined the whole show for me. Never again did I see Family Guy in the funny yet dark sense that I had before. It's just dark shock humor nowadays, and I think this was one of IF NOT the first episode to really delve into that kind of tripe.
Shame on whoever wrote that "joke". 1/10, but I'd give a 0/10 if I could......
