Garfield and Friends (1988–1995)
10/10
A show that aged like fine wine

The animation is so warm and comforting, the grain of the audio is perfection, the voices and the dialect of the voices are also warm and soothing especially accompanied by the classic audio grain. Something about the old style like this is simply delightful. The stories are simple, yet excel at it, especially accompanied by all of the other auditory and visual aspects. The settings are also comforting, and compact, they vary and are very well done. The jokes are well delivered and sometimes subtle to a point where you can always catch on, and still get the subtle feeling the character went for. The dialogue really hints at tender connections in-depth but appears to be regular, casual, almost masterful conversation on the surface value. Considering all of these variables, the Garfield and Friends show is nothing short of a classic that not only hit everything it went for, but it also has the perfect vintage of the time it was made. Overall, a wholesome experience. For everyone in the family.
