Entertaining sure, but the mystery wasn't particularly good....

Granted that I have never read the books, but this is the third movie in the series that I have seen, I do not have a comparison between the movie adaptations and the books. So how true the movies are the books and the characters, I cannot say.

However, in comparison to the two other movies in the series that I've seen so far, then this 2016 movie "Three Bedrooms, One Corpse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery" wasn't really the strongest or most interesting of storylines and mysteries to be solved. Don't get me wrong, it was still enjoyable and watchable for sure, but it wasn't just fully up to par with the likes of "A Bone to Pick: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery" for example.

One thing that I do enjoy in these movies are the recurring actors and actresses that portray the same characters. It adds so much continuity and a good sense of familiarity with the characters. It is a shame, really, that they didn't opt to cast Lexa Doig for the role of Aurora Teagarden though. I think she would bring so much more to the character. But hey, all a matter of preference.

Now, the mystery in this 2016 movie was fairly bland, and it didn't really manage to take much of a hold on me. I sat through the entire movie, but I wasn't really thoroughly entertained as much as I would have liked to be.

If you enjoyed the previous movies, then you will also find some enjoyment and entertainment value in the 2016 "Three Bedrooms, One Corpse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery" movie for sure.
