The Sounding (fka LIV) is film adapted from a play where all the lines are from Shakespeare's plays. The play & the screenplay were skillfully written by Bryan Delaney. But, it's the riveting acting that gives the writing its impact. The acting & directing is powerful and truly captivates and enthralls the audience. There's Shakespearean lines in the film, but it's written so well that one doesn't even realize at times that some lines are even from Shakespeare.

Catherine Eaton, Teddy Sears, Frankie Faison and Harris Yulin give amazing performances that grab and holds the audience's attention. It's a moving film expertly directed and acted in by Catherine Eaton.

The Soinding is a film about a women Liv, who chooses to live a life that doesn't conform to society's construct of acceptable norms. Patriarchal society cannot understand or accept her choice to live in a different way. Men seek to fix her, change her and force her to conform to their definition of "Normal" because they can't understand Liv or her choices. They deem her crazy just because she chooses to live differently. A women who defies the contracts of male society.
