Review of Mona Lisa Smile

The movie is good and for what I saw as an IMBDb rating, underrated. The dialogue between the characters was interesting, the styling was aesthetically pleasing and the acting game was good. But what I liked the most was the characters. I liked the diversity of different personalities. But that's also what I hated about the movie. See, every girl was pretty stereotypical (the insecure one, the smart one, etc.) even though every one of them was different from the other. Which is why I don't understand why they were friends in the first place especially when we see how Betty treats Giselle amd Connie. The movie never shows why they are even together as a friend group. And aside from that, I wish we saw what happened to them. Maybe it would have been better if one of them went to an university or found a job. So, yeah, I had problems with some moments in the movie but overall I think it's worth the watch.
