Back when I was a kid I used to like Yu-Gi-Oh, despite never having seen the whole series thoroughly. I guess I just enjoyed the ideia of awesome monsters getting head to head in duels. Anyway, I intended to watch it now, but couldn't stand more than 1 season. Childish story (even for a 6 yo), never-ending lectures about the power of friendship and characters as deep as a spoon make the whole thing almost unbearable to watch. As if it was not enough, there are a lot of plot holes that require a tremendous effort to overlook. To sum it up, it's just a huge waste of time. If you like monsters battling each other, just go play the game (or any other card game, for that matter).
