Not so typical dark and twisted horror film
19 February 2019
Being a lover of traveling and all things that culture brings, made me appreciate Darkness Visible in a new light. Ronnie who is a 28-year-old just living his life wakes up to find out his mother has been hospitalized in India, where he has never stepped foot in but has many family members residing in. Upon arrival into this new world that he feels he should be more connected to considering his ethnicity, he comes to find out some seriously disturbing things that his mother has been shielding from him for all of his existence. After Ronnie continues to find murders happening with the same symbol that was around his mother's body following her death, he realizes that he needs to come to the bottom of this before his fate is taken from him too. Throughout the film we see Ronnie taking different paths into solving this extremely strange and disturbing murder mystery, and it's not until the end that we find out what happens. And let's just say that it had me on the edge of my seat with my heart pumping out of my chest. I absolutely love when a movie has a good plot twist, and just an intense ending to finish off a good story. Strongly suggest this movie if you love a good adrenaline rush because it will for sure give you one.
