What a pity it's missing.

How utterly typical, the first episode in this serial that has utterly grabbed my attention, intrigued me and got me hooked, and it's missing, at least I can enjoy the audio and accompanying animation. I thought this was a truly great episode, with lots going on, we get treachery, deceit, even The Doctor is in on the act, attempting to fool Robespierre. No stranger to Doctor Who, Edward Brayshaw is great as the cunning Colbert. However it is again William Hartnell who stands out, he's just fabulous here, Russell and Hill have also been elevated, the less said about Susan however the better.

For me this episode is a real turn around. 8/10
