Safe Journey (2000)
impressive

A boy. A man. And the traits of lose. A deep loneliness and the right meeting. It could be portrait of second chance. The cinematography is admirable, the performances - profound touching. But it is , for me, an eulogy to honesty to yourself. Discovered only in the most deep grief. In the heart of the desert of soul. It could be defined as a drama or a film about faith or as intense portrait of honesty to yourself. Not the definitions are important in this case but the fact than it is a magnificent, bitter work. Poetic and realistic, in same measure. About that sadness changing everything. And about the sense of life when it seems lost at whole.
