The Rendering (2002 TV Movie)
5/10
plot has issues

Sarah (Shannen Doherty) is attacked by crazed Theodore Gray (Peter Outerbridge). It's ten years later and Gray is up for parole. Sarah is still haunted by the attack and is married to Michael Reynolds in Boston. As a police sketch artist, she draws a suspect who closely resembles Michael. The victim runs into Michael and he's arrested. Evidence is found at their home. Sarah uncovers a frame up job.

The problem is that it's unlikely for her police detective friend to not believe her or the height difference. The other issue is that the attack doesn't need to happen. A victim could be had to point the finger at Michael directly without an attack. In that way, the height discrepancy wouldn't even be an issue. There are lots issues with the premise that needs ironing out. Doherty is a good victim and Outerbridge is a good creep. The husband needs a better actor. This is functional as another woman-in-danger movie even if it has many issues.
