Here in Australia for SOME reason we began on episode 4 - unbeknownst to us - and found the show disjointed as obviously there were a few things we had missed.
Now seeing on IMDB that we missed episodes it makes sense!
Our episode 1 was about SNIPERS, so our introduction to Suspect Behaviour lacked substance & any character depth, so you don't really care about any of them.
And that's important.
The next episode about the OCD arsonist was ok.
After these the episodes DID SURPRISINGLY IMPROVE, a bit.
The one about the father of the serial killer son who then killed as well, he was a great actor.
RED CELL show boo-boos;
1. A poor choice of episodes to start with - PLUS should have played the episode with Criminal Minds (season 15) as lead up to the series to introduce the characters,
2. More depth, background to characters.
Plus a good-looking guy wouldn't have hurt😉
3. Janeane Garofalo with the loud GRATING voice...SO ANNOYING !! WHO thought it was a good idea to put her in the series is 50% to blame for it's failure as listening to her is like hearing fingernails on a chalkboard - AWFUL !!
4. The name: just called it RED CELLS.
Anyway, in what way was their unit ANY WAY DIFFERENT to Criminal Minds BAU?
Was expecting a bit less fumbling seeing as they're not suppose to answer to anyone.
But too late.
Show's cancelled.
As a converted hater it's a pity.
