Season 3, Episode 10

LAST RITES, OLIVER & COMPANY, THE LAND BEFORE TIME, FAR NORTH and the horror film CHILD'S PLAY are the five films reviewed on this week's episode. The thing about this episode is that two of the films would eventually make it onto the "Worst of the Year" show. There are several fun moments throughout this episode including Ebert's being offended by the subject matter of LAST RITE as well as Siskel questioning him on why he recommends OLIVER AND COMPANY when he can't really say what he enjoyed. Finally, with CHILD'S PLAY the two critics once again disagreed as Ebert gave the film a shocking thumbs up. Overall this is certainly a fun episode and one that packs a fun little punch with their hatred of a couple of the movies.
