Wonderful, an achievement for both Farooki and Bangladeshi Cinema
5 January 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Excellent work of camera, wonderful locations, scene selections, background music - everything is superb. Simply brilliant. yest, the movie is slow, yes it resembles a very familiar true story (to Bangladeshis, at least), and yes if you see the movie (especially if you are Bangladeshi, and have grown up reading Humayun Ahmed's books, seeing his TV dramas, know about the very known family) you have to feel the pain. You cannot bypass or avoid the pain, better embrace it. I sure liked it.
