Awkwardness instead of comedy
19 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Well the title of this 4-minute film "You're So Hot with Chris Mintz-Plasse and Dave Franco" says pretty much everything that this is about including the names of the two pretty overrated actors. Director is Emmy nominee Brian McGinn, but the direction is minimal and acting is not much more existent either as the two stand next to each other saying "hot" things in some kind of weird challenge that pretty much never would happen in real life. The twist near the end we find out about with the camera moving further away is one that sinks the film even lower than it already was. The artistic impact of this film I did not see at all. It was more about shocking the audience and all about making a pretty awkward film. They may have succeeded from that perspective, but not in a good way at all. And if they had any bravery, then they would not have blurred out certain truths. Oh well, this one is 100% Die, 0% Funny. Don't watch.
