the story has a great start,unlike other Chinese historical dramas. you will fall in love with the main leads. the story is based on a novel and it's got romance, war, history, palace etc. there are 67 episodes which makes it kinda long. some episodes are useless and some character developments are not good. you will have so many questions for the characters but none of them will be answered except for a few. there are so many rumors around for this drama that there will be a season 2. the ending was not good at all and was shocking. the editing and cinematography needs development and some episodes CGI destroys the whole thing. anyhow, strongly recommend to Chinese drama lovers.
