Review of Gypsy

Gypsy (2017)

Fantastic Original Drama

Warning: Spoilers
I cant remember the last time that I binge watched a series like this, I was hooked from the first episode. Sure its not filled with intense action scenes, but the acting is subtle and fantastic - I'm sure every viewer would agree that the chemistry between Naomi Watts and Sophie Cookson's characters is absolutely electric.

I never normally write reviews but I felt compelled to after I have seen the backlash from some TV critics. I think I must have been watching an entirely different show from the majority of them! One only has to take a quick glance at social media sites to see the buzz amongst viewers online. It is actually refreshing to see a TV show that doesn't give everything away in the first few episodes, instead it slowly teases you and leaves you wanting to go straight on to the next episode to find out what happens next.

The gulf between the critics and viewers opinion is pretty striking, but with many questions left unanswered and the viewer left wanting more here's hoping that Netflix bosses listen to the people rather than the critics!

Roll on season 2!
