Christie's Revenge (2007 TV Movie)
2/10
Now I understand why Christie's father killed himself...this film was awful on my ears

Warning: Spoilers
I wish movie studios would stop pounding their viewers with this way over the top suspense(less) infused music background continuously as if every single scene was the climax of their film. I for one find it extremely irritating and not benefiting this particular film one iota. Christie's Revenge is as the title infers is about a young college aged women named Christie (played by Dani Kind) who has recently lost her father to a suicide for which she believes her wealthy uncle who is the established Doctor Ray Colton (John Wesley Shipp) could have loaned her father the money which apparently Christie's father wanted to borrow (twice) for Christie's college tuition.

So the gist of the film is how Christie plots her revenge against her uncle which includes embarrassing the good Doctor Colton, ruining his reputation, causing grief and tension between the doctor, his wife and his daughter, and eventually explaining to her uncle after poisoning him why she was so devious and was not interested in any of the generosity that he bestowed upon Christie, such as taking her in to his own home and giving her a job in his office.

I rate it a 2 for some decent acting, but as I am writing this review my head is still pounding heavily from the most irritating suspense(less) musical score in film history. Stay away from Christie's revenge as the beginning, middle and the ending are all weak, and the over the top suspense(less) music that just seemed to be non-stop would make many people want to kill themselves. Me? I would like to blame the music conductor and the film editors for this awful soundtrack. Which is the most likely reason that Christie's father killed himself at the beginning of the film so he wouldn't have to listen to it any longer.
