Freedom (1970)

** 1/2 (out of 4)

This short film from Yoko Ono and John Lennon certainly won't win any awards. Heck, I'm not sure even fans of theirs will really enjoy it. The basic "plot" has a woman (Ono) standing in front of the camera and struggling to take her bra off.

Yes, that's the entire film. This clocks in at just under a couple minutes so obviously one shouldn't be expecting any sort of plot or anything like that. The title alone and the suggestive nature of the film tells you everything you need to know. Is this a good movie? Not really but at the same time it's mildly interesting as an experimental movie. I'm sure Ono and Lennon were wanting to push a message and for the most part that's what they do.
