After Johnny Depp and Dustin Nguyen left, it wasn't the same

What a groundbreaking show! Credit to the producers for casting Dustin Nguyen in a mainstream role in a mainstream and incredibly popular police drama. I commend the producers for not making an attempt to whitewash Harry Ioki's role (looking at you, the people behind the American series Kung Fu, which should have featured Bruce Lee).

The first three seasons were solid, and there was a wonderful rapport amongst the unit, and they looked out for each other. Unfortunately the direction got a bit languid when Dustin Nguyen and Johnny Depp no longer featured. The chemistry was missing and something was lacking - the x factor I guess.

I was impressed with Richard Greico's appearance, and his spin-off series Booker was very underrated sadly.

It was a shame Officer Dean Garrett (David Barry Gray) and Officer Kati Rocky (Alexandra Powers) only appeared in a handful of episodes, as they had real potential.
