Wacky and smart. Overall really fun movie. I loved the locations and movie felt timeless and the characters were timeless. Many things felt retro 80s, even some light Depeche-modish feel to music
but there was also a modern feel.
Almost as if the film created its own time plane which I liked. The actors had a strange bond. It was a deeper bond than surface teen flicks. Acting had a dead pan feel too it which was very cultish.
One scene where main girl, Shelly, stops her motorcycle to pull road-kill off the road. Very strange depiction of the character and cultish foreshadowing. I liked it a lot. I actually watched it twice as after I saw the ending I wanted to see the beginning again to catch the hints in the script. Recommend watching
