Won the Academy Award 2005
23 June 2016
Many people would love to see this great film shot with 8mm cameras with 200 African- American kids working as extras to depict 1963 America. This is a one hour documentary about Martin Luther King and the children of Birmingham that marched in 1963 to bring the media into the light. The producers of this documentary were nominated the previous year for documentary academy award nomination. The next year this documentary was produced and paid for by HBO. It won the Academy Award in 2005. Wish HBO would show this documentary about Martin Luther King Jr. I wonder why. Never was shown to the public after it won the Academy Award for "short Documentary'. Chris Rock presented the Award on TV even. Is that weird. Please show this to the public. Thank you.
