Review of Tiger Man

Tiger Man (1983)
1/10
Hollywood blows it
19 June 2016
Don Won's father dies and his home is burned so he goes off to learn kung fu. He is instantly a master and eventually travels to America. This movie was painful for me to watch.

There is so much bad about it that I could complain all day. Yet, the movie was made out of Hollywood and filmed in 3-D to boot. At the time it was made it exemplified what Hollywood thought the typical fan of a martial arts movie wanted to see. Hollywood, as usual, was totally out of touch with their target audience.

I believe this movie was made in 1978 so the careers of both Don Wong and Billy Chong were both ruined by terrible Hollywood movies that year. In 1980 the same would happen to Jackie Chan with the movie known as Battle Creek Brawl". At least Jackie Chan managed to recover from disaster.

I cannot recommend this movie to anyone and rate it as the one of the worst.
