Dilwale (2015)
6/10
Only for SRK-Kajol

Warning: Spoilers
I have way too many flaws with Rohit Shetty's films. First, he makes a movies with purely just stunts, some of which don't really make sense as to why it relates to his movies. Second, the characters he made them do act like retards, like put some depth in the characters and their emotions man. And the third, NO PLOT whatsoever. All stunts, music, retards-like characters, and really no good movies. They all succeed in the box-office because of the hype when really it's just like every other Rohit Shetty film. Pure Nonsense.

Just like Golmaal, Bol Bachchan, Singham and even Chennai Express, Dilwale unfortunately happens to be similar.

Now with Dilwale. The story is about Raj (Khan) who was a mafia gang leader who turned straight and became a mechanic after his confrontation with Meera (Kajol) his former beloved when she shot him in the chest. Now Raj takes care of his younger brother Veer (Varun Dhawan) and Meera takes care of her younger sister Ishita (Kirti Sanon). However, a lot of comical situations and tragic happened when Veer and Ishita fall in love together and they try to get their siblings back together as well.

Is all this new? Hell no. Because the plot was recycled from Hum (1991) and rival families going at it and children falling in love together just really made this boring. It's all too familiar. Why does Shetty even bother to make films if all he does is recycle plots and puts an all-star cast to hype it up, when really it makes no sense whatsoever. One thing for sure though, at least he makes better films than Sajid Khan.

I really don't know what to say about the actors/actresses. They ALL acted like retards and have an IQ of 0. But then again, I blame Shetty for that. He clearly does not know what to put in for the characters. He only puts them in for more and more hype. The saving grace happens to be SRK and Kajol. Although overacting was flawed (Again i blame Shetty, the creative dummy) it was nice to see SRK- Kajol on-screen together and hopefully they get to be in more movies together, just not with Shetty please.

The music was okay. The only song that stood out was "Gerua" the rest of the songs were okay.

Overall, if Rohit Shetty makes films again, can it actually have a story and can it actually make sense other than picking it out from the garbage? it was nice to see SRK-Kajol but not in a Shetty film again.
