I thought that it was perfect!

Warning: Spoilers
When I realized that the 200th episode would feature in season 9, I became a little anxious because I thought that it would feature a new major change in the characters or some big dramatic story line. To be honest,I think that the writers did an excellent job with this. I liked how the episode was understated and I found that really refreshing and sweet. I loved how Sheldon's birthday party doubled up as a celebration of the show and all of its characters' quirks. I am delighted that this episode was unpredictable and didn't go all 'making silly twists for characters' like friends did for the 200th. I really liked the guest stars and liked the return of Leslie (who I think would be good for Stuart) and Beverly Hofstadter. The only improvement I would make is having Mary Cooper there for a reunion with Leonard's mom. The scene with Penny and Sheldon and the Birthday Speeches were beautiful and really fitted the 200th Celebration, and was directed to all the people across the world, nerds or otherwise, who feel that they don't fit in. It shows how Sheldon is weird but has a room full of friends (and Kripke) who all care about him lots. I feel like this was an understated and fitting story-line for the milestone and I hope that this show goes on for 200 episodes more and Congratulations!
