L'air de rien (2012)
A wonderful tribute to the late Michel Delpech

Warning: Spoilers
I decided to watch this film today, the day this great seventies singer had his funerals. He had never been an actor, except in a couple of movies. Here, he plays his own character, with his own name. He plays a former singer in total bankruptcy who desperately tries to collect money to pay his debts. It's a so realistic tale, so close to the actual events which happen to the real Michel Delpech. The justice usher in charge of the case will do his best to help the former singer to finally make it. So our lead will have no other choice than to sing again, through many little country concerts. That's also a sort of documentary of the ushers work, which consists of taking belongings from the people who can't pay their debts. Very particular job indeed...

I really enjoyed this terrific little movie that proves Delpech was very cool as an actor. I know, as his own character, that makes things easy, doesn't it?
