Perfect For Young Kids

Ever since I was little, I have been a fan of Oswald. I found it and still to this day find it to be cute, simple, and charming. There's so much to love about this show but I'll name some things. The animation, like the animation for Max & Ruby and Maisy, has a storybook-like quality to it, as well as appearing almost felted like the animation in Little Bill, both qualities that I find very appealing. Each unique character, including Oswald (an octopus), his dog Weenie (a hotdog on a leash), and friends that include Henry (a penguin) and Daisy (a flower); as well as Johnny (a snowman ice cream vendor) and the butterfly (and mother of a caterpillar) who runs the diner are a very positive happy bunch. What else is there to say? As mentioned, Oswald is so cute and sweet, as are his other friends. Two other noteworthy things: the lessons and the relaxation factor. To this day, I sometimes find myself dozing off to this show. It's a very calm show, a nice break from kid's shows that are overstimulating to an adult. The messages are very positive and well presented without feeling forced and are perfect for toddlers (not giving up, acceptance, forgiveness, etc). The stories are easy to follow and capture a young child's imagination.
