The documentary "food matters" is about the unhealthy food and chemical injection into the human body. These unhealthy food and injections have increased diseases like stroke, obesity, cancer, Dementia, arthritis, heart attack and many more greatly over the years. Medicine swallowed in order for these diseases to be cured causes more harm because it adds up to the chemicals already in our body. Statistics show that about 106,000 die yearly in America from wrong pharmaceutical drug prescription. Some techniques used were music to accompany images- the sound pitches higher and higher when the documentary shows the chemicals. Another technique used was the variety of voices and perspectives- different age groups, people and genders all showed concerned on the same issue. Statistics was also used.

The documentary suggest that people should eat natural food instead of GMO'S and change their life style because it is cheaper, natural and more effective. Changing their life style in the way they eat suggest that people should eat natural home made food and not settle for junk food such as fast food sold like KFC, MacDonald etc.

This documentary was effective because they began to prescribe natural medicine instead of pharmaceutical. Also the video suggests that pharmaceutical industry should think about the ethical implications of their product and not only money.
