House: Swan Song (2012 TV Movie)

Good watch for fans of the show

Warning: Spoilers
"House: Swan Song" is a television documentary that was released at the end of the show "House M.D." 3 years ago. I watch all episodes of that television series and enjoyed it for the most part, so it's nice to see a little documentary giving us even more closure than the final episodes did. The good thing about this one is that it features lots of Laurie, but also interviews with and interactions between the other actors (who had bigger roles). And even if some of them do not get to say really that much, we still get some of their best scenes. Yes, there is the usual with people telling us how great it all was, how nice the team was and how revolutionary some of the episodes were in terms of how they made them, but it's not unexpected and bearable. This has been worse in other making-of documentaries. Still, this documentary also gives us some interesting background information, for examples that they also considered a wheelchair or facial scars for Laurie's character before, in the end, choosing his cane. This documentary runs roughly as long as a House episode and it's certainly worth the watch. Lots of fun. Thumbs up for this behind-the-scenes feature, but also for one of the most defining television programs of the 21st century.
